It is the last day for our Craft Lightning series. It has been so much fun and I hope y’all have gotten tons of inspiration. One more round up this afternoon. So if you want a chance to be featured, be sure to link up to the Craft Lightning Link Party. Now onto the craft for today. Last week I showed y’all my screen printed mason jar dish towel, this week I am giving y’all my mason jar trivet. This tutorial will give you a super simple method to use your stamps on glass. So let’s get started…
I am stamping on a tile from the flooring section of The Home Depot. I added little rubber feet to the back with glue before I started on this portion of the project. You will need the stamps of your choice and some glass paint markers from Deco Art.
Just take the marker and write directly on the raised area of the stamps.
Then stamp right on your project. Notice that the stamp will not be perfect. This initial stamping is just to get your outline. After stamping, just fill in the areas with your glass paint marker.
Repeat with the letters. I choose the word “yum” because I thought it was cute inside the mason jar.
