When We R Memory Keepers had a call for guest designers on their facebook page…well…I jumped at the chance. I was sent a package of goodies and was allowed to create anything I wanted. I made a great spring art sign that is perfect for your home. “April showers bring May flowers” and now you can display that saying in your own home.
I was sent an assortment from their Simply Spring collection. I also used some glue dots, 3D adhesive mount, baker’s twine, and a shadowbox frame from my stash.
I added some striped paper to the back of my shadow box first using some glue dots.
I used a paper frame from the supplies and cut another piece of paper to size. I added four 3D adhesive mounts to this combination.
This was placed in the center of my striped paper. I then used an embellishment from the package that says “April showers bring May flowers”. I used two 3D adhesive mounts stacked on top of one another on both ends.
I placed this in the center of my frame. I then tied baker’s twine into both holes of the embellishment.
I ran the baker’s twine between the frame and the dotted paper. I then secured this with glue and cut off the baker’s twine.
I placed the entire thing inside the shadowbox frame. It was ready for display. This is such a quick and easy project but it looks amazing.
I made a spring themed vignette in my foyer with the art and some other elements. You can also find instructions for the state love art seen below that I made last month. I love spring decorating! It just makes the whole house feel like it is full of sunshine and ready for warmer weather. Have you started decorating for spring yet?
