Supplies needed:
- Aleene’s Tacky Dot Roll
- Rolos
- Thin grosgrain ribbon in red
- 1 inch wide grosgrain ribbon (this should almost cover two Rolos but not quite)
How to Make Patriotic Party Favors
Now that you have your supplies, it is simple to assemble these party favors. Line up your supplies in an assembly line so that it is easy to make a bunch of these cute firecrackers for your party. You can even let the kids help you!
- Start with two Rolos and Aleene’s Tacky Dot Roll. Put two dots onto the Rolos and stick them together (“little” ends together).
- Take a length of thin grosgrain ribbon (I used red) and cut to length. Tie a double knot in the center and fold over.
- Use a tacky dot to adhere the knot to the top of your Rolo stack.
- Use Aleene’s Tacky Line Roll and adhere the patriotic stars ribbon to the side of your Rolo stack.
- Wrap this ribbon around and cut to length then use the tacky line roll to secure the end.
Keep making firecrackers until you have enough to fill a container or mason jar. You can then add my free printable to the jar to make a cute patriotic centerpiece that will look great at your party.

How to Make Patriotic Centerpiece
Now that you have your sign, print it onto white cardstock and trim it with either scissors or a paper cutter. Then add this to your container by using the tacky line roll to add to a BBQ skewer. Then just add your sign to your container of party favors to add a little something special!
