This is such a darn simple idea but I just love the way it turned out. You can make a gold hanger for pictures in minutes. Two ingredients, five minutes, and you have some stylish decor that will be unique and fun. This is a part of the makeover in my mud room so y’all stay tuned for the full reveal tomorrow.
Two ingredients is what I promised you right? Pants hangers and gold spray paint. That is all. I purchased my pants hangers at Walmart so you can go vintage or brand new.
Spray paint those hangers gold on both sides. I made sure to leave mine closed during the painting process. Allow to dry and cure completely. Open up the hanger and add your favorite picture.
My picture just happens to be a print from a vintage book but any will work in a pinch. A pair of there will make their appearance in my mud room tomorrow so y’all stay tuned!
Wow!! That really is creative and looks great! I love it. Blessings, Catherine
Wow! What a great idea! I have (literally) 50-100 of these hangers just “hangin’ around” the house. I’m all over it for my Laundry Room! Thank you!
i love the idea of gold paint. I place washi tape across the wooden clamp to coordinate with the picture. Such as Christmas washi tape to coordinate with the Santa pictures. I found tacks at Walmart that look like the old wooden spool-looking ones to replace a nail.
Beautiful idea!
