Y’all I have a Christmas treat for you today. My Olaf Nutter Butter cookies are super simple to make plus I have links to over 40 Christmas cookie recipes below for you. Awesome right? Click around, pin your favorites, and make a shopping list for your ingredients. You will be on your way to an amazing day of holiday baking. If your kids love the Disney movie Frozen, my super easy to make Olaf cookies definitely need to be on your list. To make your own Olaf cookies you will need:
- Nutter Butter cookies
- Mike n Ike candies (the orange ones from the package)
- Vanilla candy coating
- Candy eyes
- Black writing icing (the gel is shown but the regular icing worked better)
- White writing icing
- Toothpicks
Cover your Nutter Butter cookies with the melted candy coating. Before it dries, add your eyes and nose. You may have to hold the nose up for a few seconds but it should stand up. Allow the candy coating to cure. Then add on eyebrows and a mouth with your black writing icing. I find that using a toothpick for the fine details works better than using the icing tip. Place a dollop of white icing in the black mouth and use a toothpick to make the front teeth. Allow the icing to set and you have a batch of Olafs that are ready to eat. I know your kids will love these Olaf Nutter Butter cookies! Since they are so simple to make, you can make an entire batch to send to school for any holiday party.
