Celebrate winter with our Let It Snow wreath. This wreath works great for the holidays and you can also leave it out all winter long. Grab your supplies and get started on your own fun wreath today!
There’s something cozy about approaching a front door with a beautiful wreath displayed. This winter season, you need this wreath to greet your visitors! This craft is super easy to make. It will look like a million bucks for budget-friendly price.
The light flocking gives it a realistic “snow-kissed” look, and the sled is a great way to display your own message. Instead of “let it snow” you could use your Cricut machine to cut out your last name, a shape, or any other message you like.
Wreaths add a touch of festive no matter the season! If you are looking to decorate all year round, I have plenty of wreaths for each holiday and special occasion imaginable. They are so easy to make and you can add your own style and spin to make it your very own.

How to Make a Let It Snow Wreath
Supplies needed
- Wood Iron Sleigh
- 20″ Artificial Pine Wreath
- Snow-Tex
- Wood Craft Stick
- White Corrugated Paper (used code COUNTRY10 for 10% off your purchase)
- Cricut Machine
- White Mesh Ribbon
- Bowdabra
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
- Floral wire
Step 1 – Embellish the wreath
Remove your wreath from the packaging and fluff up as it is likely to be flat from shipping. When the branches are fluffed to your liking, it’s time to begin flocking!
Using the Snow-Tex, apply the product to the branches with a craft stick and even your fingers. Yes this is super messy….but you will love the results!
In the image below, the left hand side does not have any Snow-tex in place while the right is complete. See the difference?
After you finish your entire wreath, allow it to dry completely – preferably overnight.
While the wreath is drying, work on the other elements of the wreath.
Step 2 – Make the bow
Make a large white bow from the mesh ribbon. I find the easiest way is to use my Bowdabra. It’s an excellent tool for making big, beautiful bows! You can read more about my use of the Bowdabra and see a video here.
Step 3 – Cut out letters and snowflakes
After the bow is made, cut out the desired shapes and message using your Cricut.
Start by adding circles to your canvas in Cricut Design Space. I also added some snowflakes that I want to cut out.
Then add letters to your circles. Keep in mind that you’ll be cutting the letters from the circles (like a stencil), so pick a font that won’t cut the centers from the letters completely. I used the font Cricut Alphabet Stencil which is free if you are a Cricut Access subscriber.
After you have your letters centered on your circles, select both the circle and letter, then click Exclude. You’ll have to repeat this for each letter. When you’re finished with the phrase, click Make.
When you are prompted to set your base material, search for Corrugated and select Corrugated Paper.
Once finished, you should have letters and snowflakes similar to what’s shown below.
Step 4 – Arrange and glue the decorations
When the wreath is completely dry, begin laying everything out on your wreath until you are happy with the placement. I used some floral wire to add on the sled and white bow to the top of the wreath.
The snowflakes were added with hot glue while the letters were added using the adhesive on the corrugated sheet. (The snowflakes would also look great cut out of glittery cardstock.)
Step 5 – Hang the wreath and enjoy!
This Let it Snow wreath looks great hanging on my door! I love a wreath that lasts multiple seasons y’all. Will you be making this wreath for your home?
