Celebrate Christmas and the approaching winter season with our snow wreath. This wreath works great for the holidays but you can also leave it out all winter long. Grab your supplies and get started on your own fun wreath today! This post was originally posted as part of my sponsored design team status at Crafts Unleashed. I thought y’all would love to see it over here as well.
There’s something cozy about approaching a front door with a beautiful wreath displayed. This Christmas season, you need this wreath to greet your visitors! This craft is super easy to make. It will look like a million bucks for budget-friendly price.
The light flocking gives it a realistic “snow-kissed” look, and the sled is a great way to display your own message. Instead of “let it snow” you could use the Silhouette to cut out your last name, a shape, or any other message you like.
Wreaths add a touch of festive no matter the season! If you are looking to decorate all year round, I have plenty of wreaths for each holiday and special occasion imaginable. They are so easy to make and you can add your own style and spin to make it your very own.

How to Make a Snow Wreath
Supplies needed to make your own snow wreath:
Links below are affiliate links which means you won’t pay any more.
- Wood Iron Sleigh
- 20″ Artificial Pine Wreath
- Snow-Tex
- Wood Craft Stick
- White Corrugated Paper
- Silhouette
- White Mesh Ribbon
- Bowdabra
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
- Floral wire
Remove your wreath from the packaging and fluff up as it is likely to be flat from shipping. When the branches are fluffed to your liking, it’s time to begin flocking!
Using the Snow-Tex, apply the product to the branches with a craft stick and even your fingers. Yes this is super messy….but you will love the results!
In the image below, the left hand side does not have any Snow-tex in place while the right is complete. See the difference?
After you finish your entire wreath, allow it to dry completely – preferably overnight.
While the wreath is drying, work on the other elements of the wreath.
Make a large white bow from the mesh ribbon. I find the easiest way is to use my Bowdabra. It’s an excellent tool for making big, beautiful bows! You can read more about my use of the Bowdabra and see a video here.
After the bow is made, cut out the desired shapes and message using your Silhouette. I used a few snowflake shapes as well as cut the letters from the center of circles as shown below.
When the wreath is completely dry, begin laying everything out on your wreath until you are happy with the placement. I used some floral wire to add on the sled and white bow to the top of the wreath.
The snowflakes were added with hot glue while the letters were added using the adhesive on the corrugated sheet.
This snow wreath looks great hanging on my door! I love a wreath that lasts multiple seasons y’all. Will you be making this snow wreath for your home?

What a beautiful wreath! Love the little sleigh, and the mesh ribbon, and the snowy tips. I would love to have a Silhouette, but afraid I already have to much craft stuff, hubby would probably shoot me if I got more. (-;
Pinning!
So cute! I love how you can use it all winter long!
I love the sleigh on the wreath! Great idea 🙂
Cute wreath. I love the idea of having something that you can use for longer than just Christmas. This inspires me to create a new wreath – I have been meaning to do this as the one I have now on our front door is super old!
This is so cute! Love the little sleigh 🙂
Love this pretty wreath! That sled is just perfect.
That has to be one of the prettiest wreaths I’ve ever seen! It makes me actually want to have a wreath this year 🙂
The little sled is adorable! Nice job putting it all together. Now, I just need a silhouette 🙂

Hello, I love the wreath with the sled. I’m in Canada and wondered where I could find a sled similar to yours.
I am not sure! The company I got this from went out of business.
