Custom Housewarming Gifts
Got a new neighbor? Or a friend in a new home? Well, this gift is perfect for either one! Be sure to print our gift tag to go along with it to complete the gift and make it something special!
Supplies needed:
- Personalized address stamp (you can get one from Etsy here)
- Clear gift bag
- Printable bag toppers (we have both a welcome to the neighborhood and congrats on the new home that you can print below)
- White cardstock
- Computer and printer
- Scissors or paper cutter
- Stapler
- Notecards and envelopes (optional)
Printable Bag Toppers
Print the tags for the top of your bag first. To get the free printable, sign up for the newsletter below and both files will be sent to your email in a ZIP file. You can then download, unzip, and print as many times as you would like. Look for a box below with a picture of the printable you want then add in your information. Already get the newsletter, just add in your information again as you will not be signed up for anything further.

How to Make Your Gift
Start by choosing and ordering your stamp. Etsy is a great choice for getting a stamp from a small business plus there is a wide selection. Now we need something to package our stamp in once it arrives. Start by printing either the welcome to the neighborhood topper or the congrats on the new home topper onto white card stock. You can download both of those in the form above. Both have the same punny illustration so you really can’t go wrong.
Cut them to size with either scissors or a paper cutter. You want the tag to be as wide or wider than your clear gift bag. You also want it to be long enough to fold over the top of the gift bag and secure in place.
Then fold the housewarming gift tag in half.
Add your personalized address stamp to a clear gift bag. I also added in some stationary to complete the gift however this is optional. You could add in blank cards or even thank you cards as they may need to send those out for other housewarming gifts!
Then just attach your cute topper with some staples. I find that one on each side is plenty to hold everything together.
