How to Make Plastic Snow Globe Ornaments
Supplies needed to make plastic snow globes for your tree:
- Plastic jar ornaments (this is the product that I am sure you all have been searching for!!)
- Bottle brush trees (sized to fit inside jar ornaments above)
- Fake snow
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Ribbon
- Scissors
I squealed when I found these plastic mason jar ornaments. I mean how perfect are these? They are perfect for your tree and you can create a variety of ornaments with them. I did a simple snow globe but the possibilities are endless. Yes I totally have a thing for all things mason jar…
Instructions for making these plastic snow globes:
Hot glue your mini bottle brush tree to the inside lid of the plastic jar ornament. These lids just unscrew from the plastic jar. Add a little bit of fake snow to the inside of your jar, replace the lid, and then turn over and over for some snow globe fun.
I added a simple ribbon for hanging on my tree as well. I kept mine monochromatic with an all white color scheme but you can add any color tree you would like to the inside of this project. Think about other miniatures that would work inside as well. I can see an entire tree filled with plastic snow globes in this jar shape. Can’t you?
I am off to think of more ideas using these ornaments! Yes I am that in love with them!

I like this idea. The snow globes you buy in the stores are always quite the same. My imagination runs wild when I see these ones. You can practicly put anything in them so you can make even more amazing things. Imagine little lights etc.
