Today I am going to share a super spooky treat with my witch finger pretzels Halloween recipe. These are so easy to make and are great for adding a little fun to any Halloween party. Make a batch of these for your kids in minutes then watch them devour these Halloween pretzels. You can even serve them with some other no-bake Halloween treats for a spooky spread that can be made in no time at all.
Witch Finger Pretzels
Whip up these pretzels and serve them out of a popcorn box like we did or just laid out on a platter. Either way, your party guests will love these special treats.
Ingredients:
- Green candy melts
- Pretzel rods
- Sliced almonds
- Parchment paper
Instructions:
- Start by melting the green candy melts in the microwave according to the package directions. If they are too thick when melted, you can thin with a bit of coconut oil.
- Dip each of the pretzel rods into the candy melts leaving a couple of inches at the end uncoated. Lay each rod on some parchment paper to cool.
- Immediately add a sliced almond to the top of each of your pretzels pressing it into the green candy melt. This should look like a finger nail.
- Allow to cool. The candy melts will harden as they cool.
- Once cool, add to a serving platter or even a popcorn box to serve.
How to Decorate a Popcorn Box:
Want to add your witch finger pretzels to a popcorn box for serving or even gift giving? You can decorate one in minutes with these super simple instructions.
Supplies needed:
- Popcorn box
- Craft paint in white
- Black and white baker’s twine
- Black buttons
- Google eyes
- Letter “B” sticker
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Hot glue and a glue gun
Instructions:
- I painted my popcorn box to get it white. Just paint the outside only with several light coats of paint. Then allow to dry before continuing. You can also buy white popcorn boxes like these.
- Add a “B” sticker to the outside of your box. You can also cut this from vinyl on your Cricut machine.
- Then add buttons and google eyes with hot glue to make the “O”‘s in the word BOO.
- Tie baker’s twine around the top of the box as well.
- Then just add in your witch finger pretzels for a special boo for a neighbor or to serve up your recipe at a party.
Perfectly easy, gross, and spooky…..that is the perfect Halloween treat! So, grab your supplies and make your own version of this treat this Halloween. Everyone will love it!
The witch’s fingers stand perfectly in the popcorn box for a freakishly fun display at your Halloween party. Imagine several boxes of these fingers all around the food table at your Halloween party. Pretty much perfect!
