Easy Fruit Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 18.3 ounce package brownie mix with ingredients for making cake-like brownies
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening
- Fruit for decorating: kiwi, strawberries, blueberries
How to make fruit dessert pizza:
NOTE: This recipe is enough to make TWO 9 inch brownie pizzas.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions for cake-like brownies.
- Spritz two 9 inch round cake pans with non-stick cooking spray. Line with parchment paper and spritz again. Then divide the brownie mix between the two pans.
- Bake the brownies for 15 to 20 minutes or until the middle is set. Remove from oven and then allow to cool completely. Remove from baking pans before decorating.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Prepare the fruit for decorating the cookie. Make sure fruit is washed, dried, and sliced (if needed).
- Evenly spread cream cheese mixture over the cookie. Then decorate as desired with fruit.
- Melt milk chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir well. Drizzle over fruit.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. Best if served immediately.
