Everyone needs a pick-me-up from time to time. Greeting cards are one of the simplest and most impactful ways to reach out and show someone you care. Here are nine great designs for free printable greeting cards that the kids (or you) can color and send to friends and family to deliver a smile!
When someone I care about is having a tough time, I love to send them cards in the mail. Likewise, I love receiving cards when I’m going through a hard time. There are few things better than opening the mailbox and pulling out a cheery card!
And I love showing my kids meaningful ways to make a positive difference in the lives of people they care about.
Today, I have an easy way to bring a little sunshine to someone’s day and let the kids help you do it. These printable greeting cards are designed so that the kids can color them and add their own personal touch to an already cute blueprint.
Kids love to color. Adults love receiving (fun) snail mail. It’s a winning combination! Give them to friends, family, neighbors, and even the mailman.
The kids don’t need to hog all the coloring fun! If you love coloring, you can also print our free spring coloring pages for adults.

Printable Greeting Cards FAQs
If you have questions about making print at home greeting cards, I have answers for you! Please leave your question for me in the comments if you don’t see it already answered below.
Is it better to use printer paper or card stock?
I highly recommend using printer paper for this project. Although using card stock would make the cards stiffer and more “card like,” it’s also more expensive which isn’t helpful if you plan to print and send a lot of cards. Printer paper will produce nice cards and is also easier to mail!
Can I use my cutting machine to make printable greeting cards?
Since you aren’t cutting out the lettering or images because they’re meant to be colored, your printer is a better choice for this project!
