This month, I have a free Christmas lights SVG that you are going to love! It is a monogram frame, so you can add your initials and then add it to a ton of surfaces. I will show you just how easy it is to personalize the SVG file below. I also have 16 other free Christmas SVG files at the bottom of this post that you don’t want to miss.
Now, that is a whole lot of holiday crafting on a budget! You might even want to check out last year’s free Christmas SVG files!

How To Personalize This Christmas Lights SVG File
Once you get your file, you will want to add your monogram initials to the inside. Follow our instructions below to do just that.
Step 1: Upzip File
Unzip the file you were sent via email and upload the SVG to Cricut Design Space. For more information on uploading, see here.
Step 2: Choose Monogram Font
Download and add a monogram font to your device. You can find more information on using any font with your Cricut here. I am using the Round Monogram font, which you can get for free here. Do you want to change it up with a different font? You can find more great monogram fonts here.
Step 3: Add Monogram
Delete the ABC monogram from the file in Cricut Design Space. Then, use the font you downloaded above to add your initials. Remember that a monogram should be first initial, last initial, and then middle initial. The order is important. You will also want to use all three downloaded fonts to make your monogram a circle.
Step 4: Resize Letters
Resize the letters and position them in Cricut Design Space so that they are a circle inside your Christmas lights SVG file.
Step 5: Group & Cut Vinyl
You can then group any like colors and get ready to cut.
From there, it is just a matter of cutting your design and applying it to your surface. You can use this free Christmas lights SVG for a tumbler, as I have, or even a mug. I also think this one would look great on the pocket area of any shirt or even a custom Christmas ornament.
Wherever you add this SVG file, you will love how it looks! A cute Christmas lights monogram is all anyone needs for a bit of holiday cheer!
The Cricut Machine To Use To Cut This Christmas Lights SVG
All of them! The Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore series, Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy Xtra, and Cricut Venture can all cut SVG files!
The only thing to remember is that each Cricut machine is different in terms of project size capabilities and the materials it can cut. So, depending on your project, you might need to resize the SVG file or cut it out in a different material.

hey, still cant locate the download box for the file, what am I missing?
It is there now? Try refreshing.
I clicked to dowload the christmas light monogram and I got a link for Aloha pineapple. How can I download the christmas light one. I bought Christmas light pajama pants for my family and this will be perfect for matching shirts.
I am afraid I do not know what you mean. Did you sign up in the box to get the Christmas lights monogram? Then it should be sent to your email.
I signed up in the box. But the e-mail that came to me had an SVG for aloha Pineapple in it.
That is impossible. I just tried the entire process myself and it works fine. I can see that you signed up but you never opened the email that was sent to you. Since you are on gmail, try clicking all mail and finding an email that is from me titled Your Christmas Lights Monogram SVG and open that. You can then download the right file.
