This project is for a quick and easy party favor for a rubber duck-themed baby shower. I also included 12 more ideas for using mason jars at baby showers at the bottom of this post. Y’all don’t miss them!
Like so many of my crafts, you can easily switch a few things out to make this project your very own:
- Use the mason jar size that is best for the party favors.
- Switch up the spray paint color for another color, like white or silver.
- Instead of rubber ducks, attach another trinket related to your shower theme.
All you need are enough jelly jars for each guest and rubber ducks!
How to Make Baby Shower Favors in a Mason Jar:
Supplies you will need to make your own baby shower mason jar favors:
- Ball Jar Crystal Jelly Jars with Lids and Bands 4-Ounce
- Mini Rubber Ducks
- Metallic Spray, Gold
- Hot glue and glue gun
First, glue the ducks on the tops of the mason jar lids with a hot glue gun.
When the ducks and lids are completely dry, spray them with metallic gold spray paint.
Do not spray the underside of the lids and rings as it will stick to the lips of the jar.
In the meantime, fill the jars with the party favor of your choice.
After the paint has dried, add the lids to the tops of your jars and tie on a pretty ribbon.
The guests at your baby shower will love this small token of your appreciation. If you don’t love the metallic gold, change up the color to match your baby shower theme. Love the ducks? Be sure to click here to see even more rubber duck-themed baby shower crafts.
