Everyone needs the best snickerdoodle recipe in their life. Just trust me on this one. The addition of homemade buttercream frosting makes it even more addicting….just to warn you! Grab your ingredients and also your Braun MultiQuick 9 Immersion Hand Blender and let’s get started.
I am going to start with a little about the Braun MultiQuick 9 Immersion Hand Blender. You can turn the toughest ingredients into delicious creations with this next generation hand blender. The ACTIVEBlade technology allows the blade to move up and down which results in more cutting surface and 2 times finer blending. Pair that with the SPLASHcontrol technology that prevents splashing and helps keeps your kitchen clean and you have a machine that everyone needs in their home.
I opened the box and was blown away by all of the attachments. The MultQuick 9 also features the EasyClick Plus system which helps to quickly change attachments as you work. It gives you the versatility to blend, chop, whisk, mash, crush, and puree ingredients effortlessly. Because yes….this machine can do all of those and so much more. Did you know that 66% of Americans that cook avoid complex recipes that require too many tools or appliances? If you are one of those people, this machine is a one stop shop.
We are going to use two of the attachments in our cookie recipe however there is so much more that this machine is capable of. It will replace so many appliances and accessories that are in my kitchen. I can’t wait to try all of the features including the POWERBell Plus which features an extra milling blade to blend large pieces of food more easily. Right now, however, we need to make cookies. I got setup and then started on the recipe below.
Best Snickerdoodle Recipe
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- egg
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Start by adding room temperature butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and egg to your Braun MultiQuick 9. Blend until light and fluffy. With Braun’s SmartSpeed technology, you can intuitively adjust blending power without stopping. Push gently for coarse results and then apply a little more pressure for more power and finer results.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda. Add a little at a time to the MultiQuick 9 pulsing as you add. Once all combined, add vanilla and then pulse a little more.
The result is a delicious dough that is perfectly mixed!
Shape dough into round balls about 1 tablespoon each. Mix 2 tsp sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon on a small plate. Roll dough balls in mixture and then add to a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and then use a spatula to lift from parchment. Allow to cool completely before adding buttercream.
Homemade Buttercream Frosting Recipe

I wanted to make the best snickerdoodle recipe even better with the addition of homemade buttercream. Plus I couldn’t wait to try another attachment for the MultiQuick9. The EasyClick Plus system made it easy to switch to the ultimate whisk. Start by beating butter in a large bowl on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. This took about 3 minutes. Then beat in vanilla extract.
Slowly add in powdered sugar alternately with whipping cream while mixing on low.
Keep whipping frosting for 3 minutes or so to achieve the perfect buttercream consistency.
Then spread that amazing frosting on your cooled cookies.
Stack your snickerdoodle sandwiches high on a plate because everyone in your family will be diving into this delicious dessert.
Braun is a name you can trust and the MultiQuick 9 may very well be my latest obsession. A recent survey indicates that 68% of Americans would explore their culinary creativity more if they had tools that made cooking and meal prep easier. I know that I fall into that category….do you?
