Y’all cactus cookies made from Nutter Butters might be the cutest thing ever! I am sharing the simple steps so that you can whip up a batch for yourself. Frankly, I might serve these at every party I host from now on. I mean who could resist these fun cookie pops? Grab your supplies and make some for a party or just something special for a weeknight.
Cactus Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- Nutter butter cookies
- Light green candy melts
- White sprinkles
- Pink heart candies
- Pink lollipop sticks
- Parchment paper
Directions:
1. In a small microwave safe bowl, heat the light green candy melts according to the package directions until melted.
2. Lay out a piece of parchment paper, open each cookie and place onto the parchment paper.
3. Then dip each lollipop stick into your melted green chocolate and onto the center of half of the opened cookies.
4. Use a spoon to drip a little more melted chocolate on top of your lollipop stick and press the other half of the cookie back on carefully.
5. Then carefully transfer your cookies to the freezer for five minutes for the chocolate in the center to harden.
6. Remove from freezer and dip each cookie into the melted chocolate to coat them green. Be sure to let any excess drip off.
7. Place onto your parchment paper then top with sprinkles and a heart candy on top.
8. Transfer to the freezer for 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
Remove from the freezer and enjoy! These cactus cookies are so cute and oh so easy to make. Why wouldn’t you want to make these? I could dive into a batch right now! Don’t worry….they won’t hurt you!
