Some links below may be affiliate links which means that you do not pay anymore, however, a small commission will go to this site.
- Mason Jar Wall Hanger (or make your own)
- White Vinyl
- Cricut Machine (click here to see which one that I prefer)
- Transfer Tape
- Laundry Loot Cut File (click here to access)
- Weeding Tools (optional)
Instructions:
The mason jar wall hanger comes complete with the jar on a rustic board. You just need to cut your laundry loot decoration to add to the front. Download the cut file here and upload it to Cricut Design Space. Confused on how to do that? Click here for a video to show you how. You can also get our FREE Cricut Beginner’s Guide by clicking here. Then just cut the words from white vinyl.
Weed away all excess vinyl. Weeding tools make this a bit easier but are not required. Be sure to remove things like the centers of all of the letters. Then apply transfer tape over the top of the words and press down well. Slowly peel back and you should be left with the vinyl on your transfer tape like the image below.
Then just position your words onto the mason jar wall hanging and press down well. Remove the transfer tape and your change jar is ready for the laundry room. I told you this project was easy!
Hang up this change jar anywhere you need a place to collect that laundry loot. Then just fill it up when you empty those pockets on laundry day. It will be full before you know it!

Great idea! Thanks for the post
This is very cute. My Mom kept all of the “unknown” change while I was growing up in a piggy bank that had to be broken to get into it. She actually filled 2. When the first child got married she broke it and took out the family (sans fiance). It was our last treat as a family of 5.
The link for the jar wall hanger isn’t working for me. Suggestions? Thank you!
It looks like that is no longer available. I do have a post that will show you how to make your own. If you search “bathroom organizer” here on my site I have a post where I made my own mason jar holder. You can adjust the dimension to fit your area! I hope that helps 🙂
