Make your own hand-crafted Christmas gift tags featuring pretty little holly leaves illustrated by Jen Goode. This free printable craft kit comes with everything you need to create your own handmade gift tags. Print out on the paper of your choice, cut and then assemble to make pretty little tags that will look fantastic on your holiday gifts. You can also include some extra sparkle adding glitter or other fun holiday embellishments.
I printed my tags on both a white cardstock and a recycled brown paper bag. The style of the holiday art will change a little depending on the paper you use. The brown paper gives the tag art a neat weathered, rustic look. You can also wrap all your gifts with a plain brown paper and add extra color and a festive holiday look by printing the tag art on white paper. It’s a nice contrast.
All you need to assemble the gift tags are scissors and glue. You can glue the tags right on your packages, or use a hole punch and twine to tie the tags to your gifts.
The printable comes with 6 different holly leaves, 3 tags, 3 sentiments and some extra red “ribbon” so you can put the tags together in a variety of arrangements. To make these holly gift tags look even more fabulous, layer a couple holly leaves together on one card. Fold the leaves down the middle before gluing in place at the top. The leaf will then “pop” off the paper.
