I love a festive tablesetting for Christmas! We decorate every other inch of our homes…why not the dining room table? I have several tablesetting projects I’ve worked on throughout the years – everything from an every day centerpiece to a statement decoration idea! You can make these tables as formal or casual as you like.
Try this simple table centerpiece from a wooden planter box or a more formal setting from craft brooms.
In addition to the super fun napkin ring crafts below, I also have full tutorials for other Christmas themed napkin rings. Check out this Rudolph napkin ring made with a cricut or one with Santa’s belt! I even have a tutorial to monogram your napkins with the Cricut for that extra special touch!
Christmas Napkin Rings – Idea #1
I am going to start with burlap because I love a touch of rustic during the holidays. Take a paper towel roll and cut it into napkin ring sized lengths. Wrap that in burlap for a rustic look. Burlap ribbon works great for this. You can choose burlap that has dots as shown or even paint them on yourself.
TIP: Look for round sponge brushes like these to make perfect circles every time.
Christmas Napkin Rings – Idea #2
Tinsel is always festive and might bring back memories of your childhood Christmases.
Take a length of paper towel roll and wrap around tinsel that has a wire inside. Try this Amazon link for one I’ve used. Use hot glue to secure the ends if needed. Add to a festive Christmas tablescape or one for a dinner party anytime of the year.
Christmas Napkin Rings – Idea #3
Want a whimsical touch? Miniature lights can be turned into napkin rings in minutes. Again, keep things budget friendly with a piece of paper towel roll. Then wrap around mini lights like these and secure with hot glue. These lights are not only for dollhouses!
Christmas Napkin Rings – Idea #4
Extra large pipe cleaners are a great thing to have in your craft arsenal. Here I twisted a red and white one together into a candy cane like strip. Then just form that strip into a circle to create a festive napkin ring for your holiday table.
Christmas Napkin Rings – Idea #5
Another fun and out of the box idea is to use pom poms as a napkin ring. Use a white pom pom garland like this one, cut to length, and then hot glue the two ends together. This creates a napkin ring that is perfect for Christmas or even a winter themed table.
