- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped dried dates
- 1/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/4 cup flaked coconut

- Cut out the tags and skirt and add to your jar. (See further instructions below)
Items you will need to complete your cookies in a jar gift:
- Scissors
- Fringe scissors (optional)
- Hole punch
- Twine
- Adhesive tape runner
Cut out the round jar topper and add to the lid. Screw the lid on your gift in a jar.
Cut out the skirt and shirt tag. Then make fringe on skirt with regular scissors or scissors designed to make fringe. Use double sided tape runner to add skirt to jar. Then tie around skirt with twine. Punch a hole in your shirt gift tag and tie onto jar.

Aloha Cookies Recipe
- 1 jar cookie mix
- 6 tbsp softened butter
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, egg, and vanilla. Then add cookie mix and stir. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 9 – 11 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and then allow to cool slightly before diving in.
