Creative Prom Proposal Ideas: Spray Chalk

Prom season is here! It seems like all the kids are getting more and more creative with the ways they ask each other to prom. I’ve found a product that takes a prom-posal to the next level….spray chalk!

Spray chalk makes the “proposal” so simple, easy, and affordable. Much like spray paint, this product is super easy to use and doesn’t damage the grass!

This product goes where sidewalk chalk can’t! That means you can use it on grass, snow, vinyl siding, and glass.

The fact that it works on grass had me excited for the creative prom proposal ideas potential! Imagine using this product to spray your proposal in the grass outside of her window….romantic right?

Creative Promposal Ideas with Spray Chalk

Remember that spray chalk washes off! So you don’t have to worry about her father getting mad or being worried about his lawn.

After your prom proposal is complete, you can actually spray down the area with water to remove any trace of the product. Remember that spray chalk is BEST for flat surfaces – so the rain and sun (UV rays make it fade) can get to it. 

It goes on like chalk and fades to white in about 7 days and washes away naturally with rain. You can definitely use the hose to wash it away anytime you choose, however. 

First I must note that kids under 13 need parental supervision when using this product. It is non-toxic but you don’t want any accidents.

Just remove the cap, shake well, and start spraying on your letters.

The set has four colors but I chose pink.

Make sure to spray the letters nice and thick especially if this will be seen from a distance. I actually used two cans of pink on my completed project.

I just wrote “PROM?” but you can come up with any saying that you wish. The more creative the better!
