Not crazy about birds but beginning to soften my stance…at least for owls, hummingbirds, doves! This birdfeeder is adorable and might help me to embrace all feathered creatures as friends.I live in El Paso, Texas and wonder how the gelatin would hold up in our heat. Because of our mild winters, we have birds year-round so this would be a perfect way to help them through the winter. Thanks for this darling idea.
It is fine in the Tennessee heat if that helps at all!
What a great idea! Just curious will birds go into jar to get seed? Or do we need to pull toward open end as they feed?
Thanks.
They should go in and get it. Small birds that is.
This jar feeder is surely squirrel-proof. What would a squirrel hold on to? Their claws will slip off the glass!
