I thought I would round out craft week with some DIY photo gifts that would be perfect for mom for Mother’s Day. These are so easy to make as well. I am going to use this method to make a keychain and a necklace but you can use it to make any number of cute gifts with photos that mom would love.
Today we are also continuing with Craft Week where I am joining in to bring you great crafts all week long. You can find the crafts from the other bloggers at the bottom of this post! You can also find the link to a great giveaway that you don’t want to miss. So far this week, you may have missed my tulip wreath as well as my tutorial on making painted handle cutting boards. I also don’t want you to miss my post on making writable labels with the Cricut Joy and this DIY magnolia garland that is perfect for a wedding. I rounded out the week by sharing these DIY cosmetic bags and an idea for making shaker crafts with Xyron.

- Mod Podge you can use regular or outdoor formula
- Acrylic jewelry blanks

- Jewelry pliers
Instructions
- Start with a printed photo. If you are using the HP Sprocket, the photo will be self-adhesive. You can also use a photo printed on regular photo paper. Trim your photo to the size of your acrylic jewelry blank using scissors. Then use Mod Podge to adhere it to your blank. Be sure to use 2-3 coats of Mod Podge over the top of your photo for protection. Allow each coat to dry before adding another coat.
- Then use your jewelry findings to attach your acrylic blank to something like a keychain or a necklace. You can use this same procedure for a ton of gift ideas that mom will love.
Once your gifts are done, they are ready to wrap up and surprise mom this Mother’s Day.
I love giving handmade for Mother’s Day and this gift idea is easy enough that the kids can help make it.
So, plan on making some DIY photo gifts this year. Mom will love carrying her little ones around on a keychain or wearing them around her neck.
