Easy Baked Donut Recipe
Baked Triple Fudge Chocolate Cake Donuts
Ingredients:
Donuts:
- 1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 brown sugar, packed
- 2/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup mini (or regular) chocolate chips
- Donut pans
Icing:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk
Directions:
Donuts:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 standard donut pans (click here to purchase) and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, brown sugar, baking cocoa, baking powder, and salt). Then set aside. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine all of the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, vanilla, and vegetable oil). Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Add chocolate chips and mix. Then, using a spoon, distribute the batter between the greased donut pans (they should be about 3/4 of the way full). Bake 15 minutes. Remove from the oven to cool. After about a minute of cooling, carefully loosen the donuts from the pan and move to a cooling rack.
Icing:
Melt the chocolate chips and milk together in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Then remove from the microwave and stir until all of the chips are melted. Spread over the tops of the donuts.
