Can I Change The Size Of The Wreath?
Absolutely! You can make this wreath any size you like. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may need more or less burlap depending on the size of the wreath form you are using.
Can I Use Colored Burlap For This Project?
Yes, you can! I like the look of traditional burlap, but you can easily use colored burlap instead.
What Are The Different Ways That I Can Create The Fall Banner?
As I mentioned before, you have a few options when it comes to creating your Fall banner. In step 4, I discussed some of those options, but below is a quick list and additional information.
- Write Your Word – I used a Sharpie, but you could use a fabric marker instead.
- Stencil Your Word – You can use premade stencils or make stencils with your Cricut to add your word to burlap. If you go this route, I recommend using fabric paint for your stencil. If you want to learn more about using stencils with burlap, check out my Burlap Pillows with Stenciled Designs project.
- Stamp Your Word—If you have letter stamps, you could stamp your letters into fabric paint and add each letter to your burlap triangles.
- Cut Your Word From Vinyl – If you have a Cricut machine, you can cut your word from HTV and adhere it to your burlap. This would be a great option if you have scraps of vinyl that you want to use up. Also, if you want to learn more about using HTV with burlap, check out my DIY Storage Box with Burlap project.
What Cricut Machine Can I Use For This Project?
If you want to cut out the word FALL for your banner, you can use any Cricut machine! The Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore series, Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy Xtra, and Cricut Venture, can all cut HTV.
The only thing to keep in mind is that each Cricut machine is different regarding project size capabilities and the materials it can cut.
