The Cricut Machine To Use To Cut This Family SVG File
All of them! The Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore series, Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy Xtra, and Cricut Venture, can all cut SVG files!
The only thing to keep in mind is that each Cricut machine is different in regard to project size capabilities and the materials it can cut. So, depending on what project you have in mind, you might need to resize the SVG file or cut it out in a different material.
If you are brand new to SVG files, scroll down to the bottom for some helpful resources.
Step 1: Cut Fabric
Cut your fabric so that it is slightly shorter than your poster hanger and long enough for the SVG file that you are going to add to the font. The poster hangers are made in a wide variety of sizes so you can literally make this as large or as small as you would like. Hem the raw edges of the fabric. You can also leave them raw for a more rustic look.
Step 2: Cut Family SVG Design
Cut the HTV with your Cricut into whatever design you want to use for your wall hanging. Be sure to mirror the design before cutting and place your HTV shiny side down on the mat.
Step 3: Weed Design
Weed away all excess from your HTV.
Step 4: Add Poster Hanger
Add the poster hanger to the top and bottom of the fabric and hang. These are generally magnetic so it takes only seconds to add making this project super simple.
It really is that simple to make a gorgeous sign for your home! This one is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving but it can definitely be used to decorate your home year round. After all, family is everything all year long!
So, will you use this file to make a sign of your own? Perhaps a shirt is more your style? Once you have this free SVG file, the sky is the limit. You can make all of the things for yourself or for your home!
Be sure to add this family SVG to your collection and add a project or two to your list of things to make. You will be so glad that you did! After all, you may just need a farmhouse-style sign in your home this fall.
