I completed the decor in my foyer….well….at least for now! I thought I would share my farmhouse style foyer plus a great farmhouse style bookshelf I found that y’all will love. This post is sponsored by WalMart and the Better Homes and Gardens collection of products however all projects and opinions are my own.
A foyer is an entrance to your home so I wanted mine to reflect my style and personality. Farmhouse style is totally me y’all. I love having items in my home that tell a story. I also love mixing more modern elements with those farmhouse finds.
The Better Homes and Gardens Crossmill Collection Bookcase is the perfect farmhouse accent if you are looking for a piece like this. I love the weathered wood in all of the Crossmill pieces. I just had to have one of them for my own home. It is mostly filled with photo albums. We had so many from over the years plus I have some that were inherited.
Sitting on top of the bookshelf is a a great candle holder that is available in stores from Better Homes and Gardens. I decided to add in faux succulents as an ode to my friend Ashley from Cherished Bliss.
In front of the bookshelf is an old toy tractor that belonged to my husband as a child. I have loved this piece ever since we drug it out of an old barn.
The other side of the bookshelf has another old toy that belonged to my husband plus a rustic milk can filled with a vintage croquet set. The rug under the milk can is another find from BHG at Walmart. This zig zag rug does not appear to be available online in that color anymore but be sure to check your stores.
That little metal car has been restored and will always have a place in our home. The Flying O holds a plant currently but may be found holding presents at Christmas or many other things around the entry to our home.
The walls of my foyer are filled with gallery walls. I love taking pictures of my kids and giving them each a wall.
You can almost see them grow as you look at a wall like this one. Some of those frames I had on hand but I have added a few from the Better Homes and Gardens Collection at Walmart. Be sure to browse their frames at your local store to fill up your walls.
My son is the youngest so his gallery wall got split into two areas on either side of the entry to the family room.
The opposite side of my foyer has a modern print chair as well as an antique corner cabinet. If you want to see more about this area and the products used just click here.
I hope you have enjoyed my farmhouse style foyer as much as we enjoy living with it. Be sure to browse the BHG collection of products either online or in stores when you are looking for objects to decorate your home. That little tractor and metal car are awesome! I love the bookshelf too 😀
I love your farmhouse style, the use of old toys, photos of your children, and of course, the bookshelf. But, what I love the most was how you used an empty frame around your thermostats. Fantastic camouflage!
I totally love that little restored car. So cute and vintage!
Love your foyer!!!
Super sweet space filled with so many memories! Love that.
