Finding Room for a Creative Workspace

Did you know that even in a small home or apartment you can still be creative? The trick is finding room for a creative workspace. You need a place to work and store all of those creative materials. I am here to show you that even in a tight space you can find a creative workspace. 

A desk is a simple way to start and can be worked into most tight spaces. Make it even better by purchasing a desk with a hutch. This allows you to go vertical with your storage. With cleverly used storage containers, this desk option can fit into any room in your home. Already have a desk but not a hutch? Another option is to go mobile with your creative workspace. A rolling cart with drawers offers tons of storage space and can be wheeled into any room in your home. Need more room than a cart has to offer? Consider using a closet as both storage and your workspace. Shelves and bins store all of your creative supplies neatly and a folding table can be added to the closet for a work surface that can be hidden. Are you begging for more storage and more room than any of the above options? Take a corner of any room in your space and GO HIGH! A bookshelf that goes to the ceiling and other high storage options will allow you to pack tons of craft supplies in a very tight space. A work surface can be built into the plans as well or consider a fold down table.
