How To Use Your Road Sign Game
Printing this on plain paper definitely works but I have another idea for you! Print on plain paper or on white card stock and laminate it. You can then play this road trip game with a dry-erase marker and use the same sheet over and over again. This makes it easier if you are going on multiple road trips this summer.
Every time you see one of the signs on the list, mark it off. Let everyone in the car have a sheet and compete to see who can find the most. Or just have one sheet for the entire car and try to find them as quick as possible. Either way, they are sure to love playing this fun game on any car ride.
Your kids will love hunting these signs and it will at least keep them occupied for a bit. Road trips are so much fun but can be trying when young children are bored in the car. That is why you should keep scrolling and find even more free printables that you can use during your trip.

FAQs About Free Road Trip Printables
Here are a couple of questions that I see readers ask about these free road trip printables. If you have a question, please check to see if I’ve already answered it below. Don’t see your question? Leave it for me in the comments!
What Printer Would You Recommend For Printables In General?
I love using this printer!
Do I Need To Use A Special Paper For This Project?
Tencianlly, no. I like using white cardstock because it’s thicker paper, but you could use plain copy paper instead.
How Do You Laminate This Project?
If you want to laminate this project and make it dry-erase-friendly, you have a few options. Below I listed what you could do depending on your budget, time, and the supplies you have on hand.
- Buy Lamination Sheets – Lamination sheets can be found on Amazon and they allow you to put your printable in between the lamination layers. Then you adhere the layers together and your printable is fully laminated. This option is great if you have some time on your hands, and don’t want to invest in a lamination machine or travel to an office supply store.
- Use A Lamination Machine – A lamination machine is fairly inexpensive and allows you to put your printable through the machine (like a printer) to laminate it. This option would be best if you are going to be laminating a ton or are already looking into buying a lamination machine.
- Go To Your Favorite Office Supply Store – Most office supply stores (like Office Depot, Staples, etc.) offer lamination services for a small fee. This option is great if you are short on time and don’t want to invest in any lamentation products.
