DIY Burlap Table Runner Instructions
Making this burlap table runner takes a bit of time, but the steps are surprisingly easy. Once you get the motion down, you can thread the entire length easily.
Step 1: Cut Your Yarn
Cut your yarn into 6-inch pieces. I used a mixture of four colors on my fringed burlap table runner, but you can mix and match however you would like.
Use one color or a rainbow!
Step 2: Thread Yarn Loops through the Burlap
Fold the piece in half and thread the loop through the end of the table runner, as shown below. I found that a needle made this job easier.
Run the two ends of the yarn string through the loop.
Pull tight and continue in about every other hole in the burlap. You can choose your own colors and patterns.
Step 3: Thread Both Sides of the Burlap Table Runner
Continue all the way across your burlap table runner. This will take a few minutes, but it is well worth it in the end!
You end up with a gorgeous but simple fall fringed burlap table runner that is perfect for Thanksgiving or your fall decor.
PS… Don’t forget to complete both ends of the table runner.
