I created a video tutorial for you on how to make this great gone fishing wreath. I am live crafting for 10 minutes with Carolina from 30 Minute Crafts. Watch the video above for full instructions on making this fun summertime wreath.
My wreath form comes from Floracraft and was provided to me as a part of this series.
I started by covering the entire wreath form with blue tissue paper by using hot glue to secure it to the back. Then, I started adding my embellishments on top.
The “gone fishing” sign is just a cardstock cut out from my stash with some letter stickers.
I found the fishing pole toy from the Dollar Tree, and I thought was the perfect size for a wreath. You can also find them in toy stores and online.
Next, I cut the fish from various pieces of scrapbook paper that I had on hand. I just folded the paper in half and cut a fish-like shape. You could use your Cricut to cut out the fish shapes and sign as well.
Then I used hot glue to secure all of the items to the front of the wreath, including the one fish that is playfully on the hook.
I hope you enjoy this fun wreath as much as I do, and make one for your home. A gone fishing summer wreath is easy to make and only takes 10 minutes (or less!!).
