You can have a meal on the table in no time at all with this instant pot chili recipe. With colder weather on the horizon, I declare it chili weather! There is nothing better on a fall evening than a big bowl of chili. And when you can also whip it up in the instant pot, it gets even better!
Instant Pot Chili Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ white onion, chopped
- 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and then rinsed
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 2 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained and then rinsed
- 1 ½ tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2-3 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot onto saute mode and ground beef and onion to the pot. Cook until ground beef is browned.
- Combine remaining ingredients into Instant Pot inner pot.
- Then close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 12 minutes.
- Then allow for a quick pressure release. Makes 8 servings.
