FAQs
Here are a couple of questions that I see readers ask about making this lavender sugar scrub. If you have a question, please check to see if I’ve already answered it below. Don’t see it? Leave it for me in the comments!
Can I add essential oils to this sugar scrub recipe?
You can absolutely add oils to this lavender sugar scrub recipe! I would recommend adding no more than 1/2 cup of oil per 2 cups of sugar.
What can I use in place of the lavender soap?
If you don’t have lavender soap, feel free to add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the mixture.
Do I have to use dried lavender?
Fresh lavender flowers will work just fine in this recipe, however, it may make the sugar scrub a bit more wet and runny. If you use fresh lavender, I would recommend using less soap so the mixture isn’t too runny.
