I wanted to include these mason jar wedding centerpieces for summer in a jar week. After all, summer is the time for weddings right? If you have missed any of the posts from summer jars week, be sure to catch up with day 1. Then scroll to the bottom of this post to see the posts from the other bloggers for today. This post is sponsored by DecoArt however all projects and opinions are my own.
Supplies needed for these mason jar wedding centerpieces:
- Americana Decor Metallics (I used copper, pearl, and antique bronze)
- Paint brush
- Rubbing alcohol
- Battery operated lights
- Artificial flowers
- Wide mouth pint jars
Start by cleaning the jars well with rubbing alcohol before beginning. Then do not touch the surface of the jar before painting. I actually did a Facebook live video explaining my process for painting. You can watch that below. Be sure to like us on Facebook here to see more live stream videos!
I added battery powered string lights to the inside of each jar. This will mean however that you can’t use water and real flowers in your jars.
I just added some faux hydrangeas for my mason jar wedding centerpieces. You could add flowers like baby’s breath that can go without any water for a long period of time.
These easy mason jar wedding centerpieces are perfect for your wedding. I love the touch of metallic as well. The Americana Decor Metallic paints come in a wide variety of colors so you are sure to find what will work with your wedding colors. These are perfect for a night time reception to add a slight glow to the tables!
