Mug Cake Recipe with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter plus 1 Tablespoon
- 1/3 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups plus 1 Tablespoon
Directions:
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder to your favorite mug and stir with a fork.
- Add the milk, peanut butter and chopped candy and stir to mix well. The batter will be very thick.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of additional chopped peanut butter cups on top.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Continue to microwave in 15 second increments until completely done (mine took about 90 seconds – yours may vary depending on microwave wattage).
- Remove from microwave and cool for 1-2 minutes.
- Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 10 to 15 seconds or until melted.
- Drizzle the melted peanut butter on top of the mug cake and ENJOY!!
Yields: 1 large (10 oz mug or ramekin)
