Supplies needed to make your own neon pom pom DIY wreath are below. All of my supplies were provided by Consumer Crafts but this project and all opinions are my own.
- Neon Pom Poms (I used almost 3 bags)
- 12 inch Wreath Form
- Lime Green Ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun
There are a variety of sizes of pom poms in the bags. I started with the largest pom poms and went around the inside of the form first. Just secure each pom pom with a dot of hot glue.
I then continued with the largest size around the outside.
Then, just fill in randomly with the various size pom poms. I went from largest to smallest size pom pom as I was filling in my wreath.
The picture below is what I had left from my three bags of pom poms when my wreath was complete. So yes, you really do need three bags of pom poms. Also, I made my neon pom pom wreath very, very full but I think it looks best that way!
The smallest pom poms work well to add around the top and sides.
Just wrap a length of the ribbon around the wreath and hot glue to the back. Use it to hang your wreath on a door or anywhere in your home. What a wonderful splash of color this will add to your front door. The hot glue gun makes this a quick project but if you can stand some extra drying time this would be a great kids craft project. Use a kid friendly glue and let the kids go wild adding pom poms in various colors.
This would be very cute in a little girls room! Great Craft!
So cute and bright!
Just a suggestion – please add a date to your crafts…I find them easier to follow that way. =)
That kind of super-de-dooper fun! I love the neon pop! My daughter loves a door decoration on her door. I think it would be fun to make with her.
So cute! What size bags of pom poms do you use (the consumer crafts links don’t work for me)?
