This paper flower centerpiece would be perfect for a wedding or just as a centerpiece for your dining room table. It only takes a few minutes to put together and yes those vintage looking milk bottles are actually new! Read on to find out sources as well. This one was original posted over on Crafts Unleashed but I am posting here in case you missed it. This is a part of Craft Lightning wedding week where we have been posting wedding crafts that take 15 minutes or less all week. If you have missed any of the fun, be sure to check out day 1, day 2, day 3, and day 4. Also don’t miss the wedding crafts from our blog partners at the bottom of this post. Now onto this great paper flower centerpiece!
Items needed to make your own paper flower centerpiece:
Items were given to me for free as a part of a compensated design team however all projects and opinions are my own.
- Vintage Glass Milk Bottles (4)
- Wire Milk Bottle Carrier
- David Tutera Turquoise Paper Hydrangeas
- David Tutera Purple Paper Hydrangeas
- David Tutera Cream Paper Hydrangeas
- Burlap and Lace Ribbon
- Aqua Diamond Ice Vase Filler
- Honeydew Diamond Ice Vase Filler
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Each milk bottle should get half of a pack of vase filler. I alternated colors on my centerpiece but you could use all of the same color if desired.
Cut and wrap burlap ribbon around the bottle. Use hot glue to secure into place. Be sure to cover the markings on the bottle with the ribbon.
Add the milk bottles to the wire carrier as shown below.
Remove the paper hydrangeas from the packaging and place in the milk bottles. You can fluff and arrange these as needed. Again you can use all of the same color or a variety if desired. I love these paper hydrangeas for every room in my home!
Add this paper flower centerpiece to the center of any table. These are perfect to make up ahead of time for a wedding or just make one for a bright touch of color in your home for spring. I love the vintage looking milk bottles so much that I might just leave those out all year in my home!
