Free Printable Vintage Labels for Jars

Today I have a treat for you with some free printable vintage labels for jars. We all love apothecary jars! They are all the rage in farmhouse-style decor. So I am going to share a tutorial on making your own in minutes and for very few dollars. Can you guess what this project cost me? I will spare you the suspense. Nothing, nada, zip! So, are you ready to make your own apothecary jars? You might just have all of the supplies you need on hand already.

Free Printable Vintage Labels for Jars

I made up a set of labels just for you. I made them all different sizes so depending on the size jars you have the perfect label is just a click away! How to Use the Apothecary Jar Labels

Now that you have your free printable vintage labels, you are ready to add them to some jars.

Supplies needed:

• Free printable vintage labels from above
• Old jars and bottles (you may already have some of these on hand)
• Regular copy paper or label stock
• Brown craft ink (this is my favorite ink for distressing)
• Paper towels
• Mod Podge or Xyron Creative Station
• Scissors

Adding Vintage Labels to Jars

Download and print your free printable vintage labels on regular paper or on label stock. I used just plain paper for mine. You can also print on label stock and skip the steps for adding adhesive below.

Please also note that your printable will look different than mine. I added even more apothecary labels in different sizes to fill the page. Then use some brown ink and a paper towel to distress each label. I made some darker then others. Just rub your paper towel on the ink pad then rub it across your printed labels.

Then gather up random jars and bottles. You could even use old food jars as literally anything should work for this.

Then just cut your labels out using scissors. You have a few options for adhering the labels to the jars:

• If you used label stock, just peel and stick.
• Put Mod Podge on the back and stick them to the jars.
• Use a Xyron Creative Station to apply adhesive to the labels before sticking.
• Use the print then cut feature on your Cricut and some label stock to make stickers.

That is literally all there is to this project. So easy and yet they look so good! A perfect way to bring that farmhouse feel into any room of your home even if you are on a budget.
