Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bark Recipe Ingredients
Some links may be affiliate links.
- Vanilla Candy Coating (1/2 of the 16 oz package)
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes or other peppermint candy
- Additional whole mini candy canes (try Amazon if you can’t find them)
- Candy eyes
- Candy mustaches (I could only find them online in this package)
Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with aluminum foil. Melt 1/2 of the 16 package of vanilla candy coating according to the package directions.
Stir in the crushed candy canes and spread into the foil lined pan.
Press in the mini candy canes randomly as shown to make heart shapes.
Press in the candy eyes and mustaches. You may have to get a little extra candy coating to help these stick. Set aside and allow to harden.
Once everything has hardened, remove from foil lined pan and peel away foil.
Break into pieces. I used a butter knife to aid in breaking but your hands will probably also work well. Be sure to leave the candy cane heart men in one piece.
Serve up this Valentine’s Day chocolate bark recipe to your kids! They are sure to love the little mustaches on the hearts! I know my kids did!
The peppermint flavor works well with the vanilla candy coating and this fun Valentine’s Day dessert is easy to whip up in just minutes.
You can also add this Valentine’s Day chocolate bark recipe to bags and hand out at school parties and more. You might way to double the recipe and use the entire container of vanilla candy coating in that case. Just use two pans or one large 9×13 inch pan. Hope y’all enjoy!
